More About Us
Our Mission and Vision
We are a welcoming community who seek God's saving grace and nurturing love. We believe in the power of salvation through faith in Jesus Christ, and we celebrate the transformative work of the Holy Spirit in the lives of believers. Through discipleship and fellowship, we strive to grow together as a body of believers, supporting one another.
Our History and Beliefs
  • The Elim Christian Mission was founded by Pastor Martin Jesus Blas, who answered God's call to evangelize Brazil in 1980. After 15 years of preparation in Argentina, he established churches across various Brazilian cities, driven by the truths revealed during a period of great revival. The name "Elim," inspired by Exodus 15:27, symbolizes a place of rest and spiritual refreshment for believers journeying towards the promised land. Today, MCE has expanded its reach to numerous cities in Brazil, Colombia, Europe, Africa and North America, including Atlanta, GA, where it launched in 2023. This expansion reflects ECMs commitment to spreading the Gospel and establishing communities of faith grounded in the teachings of the Bible.
  • Our faith is deeply rooted in the Holy Bible, with Jesus Christ as our cornerstone. We believe in the one true God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We embrace the teachings of both the Old and New Testaments, recognizing the Bible as the supreme authority in matters of faith and conduct.
  • Our church is committed to proclaiming the Gospel globally, extending our ministry to Africa, Europe, Latin America, and North America.

Worship
Our community comes together in joyful worship every Sunday at 4:30pm, seeking to honor God and grow in faith. As we establish our presence in Atlanta, we are currently holding services in a home in Buckhead while seeking a permanent location to better serve our community. This intimate setting provides a welcoming space for worship, fellowship, and spiritual growth as we lay the foundation for a thriving church in the Atlanta area. Please contact us for the address and join us for our Sunday services!
Fellowship
Our church is a place where people can connect, build relationships, and support one another.
